This ebook constitutes the completely refereed post-conference lawsuits of the fifteenth overseas convention on Membrane Computing, CMC 2014, held in Prague, Czech Republic, in August 2014. the nineteen revised chosen papers awarded including five invited lectures have been conscientiously reviewed and chosen from 24 papers awarded on the convention. additionally, papers chosen from the 22 papers awarded on the nearby model of CMC, the Asian convention on Membrane Computing , ACMC 2014, held in Coimbatore, India, are incorporated. The papers hide quite a lot of subject matters within the quarter of membrane computing, that is a space of computing device technological know-how aiming to summary computing rules and types from the constitution and the functioning of dwelling cells, in addition to from the best way the cells are geared up in tissues or larger order structures.

18 9 L. Cienciala and L. Ciencialov´ a Conclusion We recalled idea and functioning of basic model of P colonies. This model was introduced in in 2005. Since this time many papers and studies about the model and its variations were written. Almost all the reports are focused on determination of computational power of more or less restricted variants of P colonies. The second part of the paper was dedicated to the extension of the P colonies called 2D P colonies. This model seams to be suitable for simulations of multiagent systems.
